High School

CHUMS

CHUMS program is looking for Senior (grade 9-12) volunteers. Similar to a big brother & big sister program, CHUMS main goal is to promote healthy relationships and connection by being a positive influence/role model to younger students (Junior CHUMS Grads 1-5). This occurs by partaking in and leading activities once a week (Wednesdays) to help build connection. CHUMS was previously coordinated by Monica Harpham but now since retiring Outreach Workers of TMSS (Brittany) and TES (Leah Bell) will be taking lead on the program. Students do receive GP points or Volunteer hours towards Wellness for partaking in the program. Please come speak with Brittany in the Outreach office if you are interested and for further information. The program starts Oct. 16. It’s a great cause and a great resume booster. :)
